Thomas’ Legacy of Love exists to honor the life and service of Thomas by supporting students,
strengthening families, and uplifting our community through scholarships and service initiatives.
Education
For 26 years, Thomas volunteered in the guidance office at Sheffield High School, helping students find scholarships, earn diplomas, and believe in their own futures. We carry that same commitment forward through scholarships and resources for students who need a champion in their corner.
Faith
Rooted in the belief that we are called to comfort others the way God comforts us, everything we do flows from a faith that turns hardship into purpose.
Community
Thomas believed in meeting people where they are, no judgment, just love. His legacy lives on through direct support for students, seniors, and families in the Shoals Area who need it most.
Amazing change came into Thomas' life following a debilitating accident. Instead of bitterness, he turned empathy into becoming an inspiration for the most in need. Thomas changed hopeless visions of students to hope through, advocacy, counseling, support, and scholarships for a more sustainable future. He became a humble servant as a bridge for marginalized seniors and families most in need of health resources. First stating, “Meet people where they are,” he reserved judgement. Instead, showing unconditional love Thomas met needs with love and the required financial assistance. Thomas gave multiple hours of service in the community. While serving on city boards, a foundation, and in the school systems, community Thomas served with a loving heart and a vision for empowering people and being a change agent.
